Description
Role Objective: To manage day-to-day accounting operations and conduct limited, risk-focused internal control reviews under management direction. Core Responsibilities: Support day-to-day accounting operations by handling transaction recording, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate financial data. Perform regular reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer) and monitor payables/advances. Maintain proper documentation, assist in audits, and support monthly closing and basic reporting. Conduct sample-based compliance checks, ensure adherence to SOPs and approval controls, and flag discrepancies such as missing documents or duplicate/irregular entries. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. 1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or a similar role. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliation processes. Experience in managing invoices, expense vouchers, and maintaining proper financial records and documentation. Ability to perform bank reconciliations, vendor/customer balance reconciliations, and monitor payable/receivable aging. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems. Experience supporting audits by preparing documentation and financial schedules.
