About the role and application
Title: Associate – Fixed Income, Macro and Asset Allocation
Location: London
The applicant must possess the following:
· Chartered Accountant / CFA / MBA from reputed university
· At least 6-8 years of experience in investment research
· Highly motivated and self-driven as you are expected to work independently
· Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to build/improvise the asset allocation framework of the firm
· Critically evaluate investment opportunities and portfolio holdings and recommend portfolio actions
· Ability to analyse macros trends, economic indicators, review investment products thoroughly and write product review notes
· Good understanding of market cycles, investment risk management, and valuation methodologies
Skills and Experience required:
· Ability to mentor junior analysts in the team
· Carry out portfolio reviews independently with the clients
· Periodically write blogs/newsletters for the firm
· Experience in advising clients
· Strong business acumen and product knowledge
Key Responsibilities:
· Identifying investible opportunities in Global fixed-income markets in line with the Firm’s Investment Philosophy
· Keeping track of market trends and managing the asset allocation model of the firm
· Leading the efforts to produce blogs, newsletters and podcasts on behalf of the firm
· Writing investment research notes and financial analysis on investee companies/funds/instruments including the watchlist
· Periodic portfolio and performance reporting to clients
· Effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders
You will be working in a flat reporting structure and therefore expected to have a tremendous amount of self-drive and willingness to take ownership of your work. This will also mean a lot of freedom to handle your responsibilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
