Responsibilities Position Purpose: The role will allow for close co-operation with with senior traders and global teams, gaining hands-on experience in credit markets and exposure to StoneX’s broader product suite. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop trading skills, market knowledge, build coding skills and client engagement capabilities within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to build expertise in Asia and US credit trading. Primary duties will include: Assist senior traders in managing the trading book within mandated risk limits. Monitor market developments and provide timely updates to the trading desk. Collaborate with global sales teams to support franchise growth and client coverage. Execute trades on electronic platforms under supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Contribute to the preparation of market commentary, trade ideas, and client presentations. Support the development of institutional solutions to strengthen client relationships and identify new opportunities. Liaise with sales, operations, and compliance teams to ensure smooth trade execution and settlement. Participate in daily desk meetings and contribute to discussions on market trends and strategy Qualifications To land this role you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in credit trading, fixed income, or related financial markets (internships or analyst experience acceptable). Basic knowledge of Bloomberg and order management systems; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills. Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive under pressure. Understanding of regulatory environment in Singapore and Asia is a plus; MAS qualifications or equivalent can be obtained during employment. Ability to work effectively within a team structure and collaborate across global geographies. Multilingual ability is a plus, but not required. Must have full rights to work where the role is based Desired Skills Strong interest and knowledge in financial markets, particularly credit and fixed income. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLookup, pivot tables, basic modeling) Coding skills eg Python Working environment: 4 days in office, 1 day remote
