We are looking for an ESG Associate associate to help PwC clients with their ESG reporting strategies development across a variety of sectors and taking a lead role in projects related to sustainability analysis, regulatory compliance, reporting, and strategies. The work can be multi territory with virtual/on site secondments. To jointly succeed, we would expect: Minimal C1 proficiency in German (need to be able to communicate, read and write in professional German) Fluency in English and Croatian A university degree in economics, engineering, environmental science and/or equivalent Good communication and interpersonal skills Passionate about sustainability Basic Eexperience in sustainability reporting can be advantageous What you’ll do and learn: Be part of PwC global network Working virtually or on-site in different territories Working with German speaking clients Assist in preparation of sustainability reports Help prepare clients for CSRD regulation and sustainability reporting obligations Provide compliance and corrective implementation support, and sensible sustainable value creation advice to clients Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of complex data to identify ESG performance, including market, competitor and internal analysis Assist in cataloging data and reporting requirements, their availability, and gaps for fulfilling ESG reporting Support clients in developing a compliance ESG strategy creating new processes, controls and technology Assist clients with practical ESG implementation, including with baselining and decarbonisation measures Conduct materiality assessments and facilitating the measurement of ESG metrics Collaborate on ESG projects within cross country team in southern eastern Europe You will be a great match if: You have fluent German communication skills You have excellent analytical and summarizing skills You have high motivation and passion for sustainability, climate change topics, and related regulations You are innovative and you enjoy teamwork and contact with clients You like to solve problems and you are independent in your work You are familiar with sustainability reporting standards and regulations We are offering: Access to global best practices and professional know-how in an international setting; Company training and opportunities for career growth; Professional, positive and team-oriented working environment; Opportunity to work on international projects with teams in other PwC offices; Comprehensive employee benefit program including annual medical checkup, team building, Multisport card, annual bonus; Central office location in Zagreb.
