Description
Serve as the day-to-day producer for the Editing & Rules team—help prioritize projects, track progress, and improve tools and processes so that the rest of the team can focus on delivering high-quality work. Build and maintain calendars, Smartsheet schedules, and dashboards for all of Game Design, ensuring everyone has reliable access to accurate information. Coordinate and schedule team meetings and playtests across 35 team members with 15+ concurrent projects. Assist managers with capacity planning and long-term forecasting. Help anticipate and solve schedule and workload problems before they arrive. Support our digital review processes with Arena and Magic: The Gathering Online, partnering with several cross-functional teams to ensure that reviews and feedback are timely and effective. Own the various routine administrative tasks that support the daily operations of the Game Design group. Prepare for and run playtests, maintain card printers, manage physical product, and more. Professional experience tracking schedules, tasks, and information in a fast-paced environment for highly technical, interconnected teams. Enthusiasm for balancing creative flexibility and structure, synthesizing different streams of information, and tackling roadblocks with positivity and persistence. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of and passion for Magic: The Gathering and its various play formats, and the ability to identify and understand key gameplay elements. Excitement for continuous improvement and a strong desire to learn. High proficiency with Smartsheet, Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook), and/or Confluence. Past experience as a producer for editorial or design teams, office administration, or event coordination.
