Description
The Job Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standard (SFRS) and accounting principles. Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and P&L accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are promptly addressed. Perform Variance analysis and prepare reports on financial performance. Oversee and manage the consolidation of financial results from multiple entities within the organisation. Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements and cash flow statements. Support in taxation encompasses GST, corporate tax, deferred tax provision, property tax, and license fee computations, ensuring accurate reporting, timely filings, and compliance with applicable regulations. Assist with the timely preparation and completion of the annual report and ensuring compliance with Financial Reporting Standards Support in the preparation of budget and forecast, providing input on financial projections based on consolidated results. Assist with preparation and timely submission of Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) financial statement for annual filing Furnish financial information to department of statistics and other government bodies Initiate and identify process improvements related to financial reporting and consolidation to improve efficiency and accuracy Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, including stock-take and other audit deliverables. Collaborate with other finance teams to ensure smooth financial operations. Any other tasks as assigned. The Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent with minimum 3 years of relevant working experience. Experience with group consolidation. A self-starter, with good problem-solving skills and attention to details. Ability to communicate with various levels of management, with demonstrated track record on collaboration. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, Singapore tax and GST regulations, and statutory compliance.
