Position Title Associate Function/Group Corporate Finance Location Mumbai – Powai Shift Timing 11am-8pm Role Reports to Manager – Corporate Finance Remote/Hybrid/in-Office Hybrid: Currently 2 days in a week but need to adhere if it changes in future. For more details about the Function please visit this Link Purpose of the role · Financial Accounting, preparation of journal vouchers, passing entries · Knowledge of basic accounting, tax, statutory payments. · Proactive to resolve queries and identifying root cause to issues. · System knowledge – ERP navigation. · Preparing Reconciliations such as Bank, ledger accounts, adhoc if any. · Should be able to support Finance functions. Key Accountabilities 70% of Time Financial Accounting Accounting for Journal Entries and bank entries Ensure appropriate supporting for JV and other entries. Prepare monthly GL/Bank Reconciliations Handling Treasury activities, monthly chargebacks Assist on any adhoc requests during monthly and annual closures. 10% of Time Audits Data preparation for Internal & Statutory Audits. Ensuring appropriate documentation is available during audits. Resolving queries for respective areas 10% of Time Compliance Data preparation for GST, STPI and other statutory areas 10% of Time Additional Responsibilities Identify opportunities for process improvements. Other Adhoc Activities which may come up as and when such as tracking contracts, etc. Minimum Qualification Minimum years of related experience required: 2-3 Years Preferred Qualification Preferred Degree Requirements: Bachelors, Masters/Inter CA. Preferred Major Area of Study: Finance & Accountancy Preferred years of related experience: 2 years Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed Basic Knowledge of Financial Accounting, Indian and US GAAPs. Can prioritize and complete multiple tasks on tight deadlines. Proficient in Excel, Word, ERP navigation. Interpersonal effectiveness. Learning Agility.
