Description

CDFW is hiring an Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) to inspire and provide support complex organizational functions including grant administration, Tribal affairs, outreach and education, and other critical aspects of the Cannabis Program. This role entails gaining and applying knowledge of cannabis policy regulations, industry norms, cultural humility, and fostering and maintaining strategic and collaborative relationships to achieve the goals and objectives of the Cannabis Program.
We’re located in downtown Sacramento inside the California Natural Resources Agency Building, a state-of-the-art Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum Certified facility, right next to Sacramento Regional Transit Light Rail. Our building features panoramic downtown views, an employee gym, bike lockers, cafeteria and much more!

Working Conditions
The position requires the use of a computer for several hours each day, the completion of office tasks that require sitting, standing, and walking to other locations; attendance at meetings and participation in conference calls. Work may require a uniform.
Minimal travel (less than 5%) is required within the state of California via private or public transportation (i.e., automobile, airplane, etc.).
This position is based in Sacramento and offers the possibility of an remote-centered telework agreement based on the Department’s current Telework Policy.
