Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSMI) in the Resource Management Branch, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst works as a procurement and budget analyst. The incumbent is responsible for procurement, contract management and budget analysis duties. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: cost monitoring, ensuring compliance with all procurement guidelines and regulations, developing reports, coordination of activities with other programs, communicating with vendors and external agencies. Incumbent also performs a wide variety of highly critical, technical and complex budget analysis for the development and administration of the District budget policy. Additional duties include preparing budget reports, analyzing and monitoring functional and project budgets, and acting as consultant to management on personnel management and budget issues by maintaining the legality of personnel documents and recommending budget adjustments when policy, operational, or program changes dictate changes in budgetary requirements.
