ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST

Under the direction of the HR Operations Supervisor (Staff Services Manager I), the incumbent is responsible for the operation and management of the following human resources programs: Labor Relations (LR), Performance Management, Workers’ Compensation, and a variety of employee leave and disability programs. Performs the more responsible, varied, and complex analytical assignments involving labor relations, performance management, and employee disability leave entitlements including, but not limited to, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), California Family Rights Act (CFRA), Non-Industrial Disability Insurance (NDI), State Disability Insurance (SDI), medical Leave of Absence (LOA), Catastrophic Leave, and the Reasonable accommodation (RA) Program.
This position is remote-centered and is eligible for telework up to 5 days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. A teleworker is considered remote-centered if they work fifty percent or more of their time from an alternate work location. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment. Effective March 3, 2025 this position will transition to a hybrid workplace requiring a minimum of two days in-office presence per week.
