DESCRIPTION

Associate Grants and Contracts Administrator \Remote. Candidates residing in AK, WA, MT, OR, CA, TX or NM are encouraged to apply.
Provides specific and knowledgeable support in the gathering, compiling, analyzing, and reporting of sponsored projects (grants and research) information. The position is the first in a series of sponsored project positions focused on compliance and operational transactions, including financial data. Work includes data entry, specialized review of entries for completeness and accuracy, and assisting others in specialized duties. Expected to master a process, or an assigned process sub-set, and be able to train others on their scope, as well as identify opportunities for improvement in ongoing work quality (inputs and outputs) and suggest process improvements. Access to sensitive information is expected, and knowledge of compliance and responsible use of sensitive data is an expectation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree - Preferred fields: Accounting, Public Administration, Finance, Healthcare or 2 years of applicable experience in Healthcare, Research, Finance, Accounting, Education, or Legal fields.
  • 1 year of closely related experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year of Research/grant/healthcare administration experience.
