This role is responsible for driving new business acquisition within assigned emerging markets, primarily rural and untapped territories. The aGML will focus on building partnerships with local and regional restaurants through face-to-face sales engagement. This is a field-based sales role, where most transactions are conducted in person. Key Responsibilities Travel to emerging markets to expand the company’s footprint Identify and win new restaurant partnerships within assigned geography Conduct high-volume, face-to-face sales meetings with restaurant owners Pitch and demonstrate the value proposition of partnering with DoorDash Negotiate revenue share agreements and close new business Manage a largely transactional deal cycle and close deals quickly Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers Utilize company-provided sales tools (sales sheets, business cards, promotional materials, etc.) Develop scalable sales strategies and playbooks for long-term market success Maintain accurate documentation of activities and performance metrics Required Qualifications 2.5+ years of successful sales experience in a closing role Proven track record of selling to SMB clients Preferred experience selling to: Restaurants Food & Beverage businesses Hospitality sector Comfortable with both inside and outside sales tactics Strong negotiation and closing skills Ability and willingness to travel frequently (50%+) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build territory strategy Comfortable working in fast-paced, transactional sales cycles Preferred Candidate Profile Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) Background in restaurant or food & beverage sales strongly preferred Self-motivated, independent, and results-driven Strong communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable working in rural and emerging markets Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
