THE TEAM

A&M is seeking an Associate HR Business Partner (HRBP) based in the London office. The HRBP team partner with every client group in the business, including EMEA regional support. We are regarded as people experts, advising at all stages of the employee experience. We leverage the working knowledge of each client group and the firm’s Culture & Values to drive the core and local people agenda.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior HR generalist experience desirable, preferably in a corporate /professional services environment
  • Analytical reasoning and solution-focused problem solver with the ability to think critically and independently
  • Ability to drive to results, in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritise work independently
  • Innovative in approaching situations and responsible to be an advocate for change
  • Self-motivated and disciplined individual with analytical skills; capability to work independently as well as in teams
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to effectively interact with senior management
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Works well under pressure; flexible work style
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (in particular PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Experience with HR systems, Workday preferable but not essential
Responsibilities
  • Support the HRBP team in delivering key people projects (core and local)
  • Support key activities which are paramount to the HRBP programme (such as mid-year and year-end reviews, year-end ratings, promotions and total compensation review)
  • Supporting firmwide activities for the EMEA region such as Employee Engagement Surveys, upward feedback cycles, tracking and monitoring compliance
  • Developing and utilising data to drive key business decisions
  • With support become, proficient in Employee Relations (e.g. informal actions, performance management, grievances, exits and settlement agreements across EMEA)
  • Collaborate across the People Team to support key people lifecycle activities as appropriate (e.g. joiners, leavers, secondments, transfers etc.)
  • Develop legal, commercial and risk understanding to inform better decision making and advice to Leadership
  • Contribute to key projects across the People Team and wider firm initiatives (not just limited to the HRBP function)
  • Develop and grow within the role to take on more HRBP responsibilities over tim
