Job Description We are seeking an experienced Associate HRBP to play a pivotal role in supporting both the day-to-day operations of the business and its broader people agenda. In this role, you will partner with managers across a range of HR processes, including employee relations, change, performance, and talent management. Reporting to one of our Heads of HR (Business Partnering), you will take a proactive approach to ensure issues are addressed efficiently, communications are clear, and managers are empowered to support their teams effectively. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Assist across a range of employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievances Work with managers to design, implement, monitor and where necessary, escalate performance improvement plans (PIP’s) Organise employee relations cases and change projects, drafting correspondence and organising evidence and consultation documents Gather metrics from HRIS, ATS, HR Ops to produce reports and dashboards for Heads of HR, senior managers and SLT members, giving insights based on data to drive value Conduct exit survey and interviews of all leavers and provide regular insights to the team Assist with talent review process Organise and maintain employee relations materials Provide proactive advice and guidance to managers on employee relations issues, helping to prevent potential conflicts and mitigate risks Educate employees and managers on company policies, procedures, and best practices to promote a positive work culture and maintain legal compliance Support our Learning and Development team to deliver training programs and workshops for managers and employees on topics related to conflict resolution, communication skills, and employee relations best practices Identify potential risks and liabilities related to employee relations matters and work to proactively mitigate them Supporting on project activity as appropriate (e.g. onboarding, alignment of people policies, employee surveys, D&I etc.) KEY INTERFACES Head of HR HR Operations team Payroll Specialist People managers and leaders across Fastmarkets Qualifications We recruit talented, dynamic people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, all united by a belief in our mission to provide the world’s leading and most trusted price reporting, events, and intelligence service for the markets we serve. Human resources experience, with a focus on supporting employee relations processes An understanding of employment law, regulations, and best practices in the UK An understanding of international HR practices is desirable but not essential Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively resolve conflicts Experience working in a fast paced, changing environment Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with confidentiality and professionalism Understanding of key HR metrics, ability to produce reports (HRIS, Excel) Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS), HiBob experience advantageous Ability to work methodically through work as well as show initiative to change and process improvement. Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all HR activities.
