Your day at NTT DATA The Associate HR Operations Generalist is an entry level subject matter expert, responsible for supporting various operational aspects of the employee lifecycle such as (but not limited to) tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS management, and employee record maintenance. The Associate HR Operations Generalist requires attention to detail and organizational abilities to contribute to the smooth execution of HR operations. This role works under general supervision when working on more complex HR operations activities. Key responsibilities: Supports with HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding. Assists with ensuring HR activities and processes are in full compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies. Receives detailed instructions to use HR data to generate insights, trends, and metrics that inform decision-making and drive improvements. Contributes to organizational change initiatives within HR operations, providing guidance to employees during transitions. Works with other departments to align HR strategies with organizational objectives and ensure seamless operations. Works with HRIS software for data management, reporting, and analysis, ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the HRIS. Performs any other related task as required. To thrive in this role, you need to have: Basic understanding of HR processes, policies, and best practices across various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding. Basic understanding of HRIS software and tools for efficient data management, reporting, and analytics. Basic understanding HR data to generate meaningful insights and present key metrics to inform strategic decisions. Ability to contribute to the development and execution of strategic HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Displays good written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex HR concepts to diverse audiences. Displays some analytical skills to identify HR challenges, propose solutions, and make informed decisions. Ability to support HR projects from inception to completion. Academic qualifications and certifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the field of Human Resources or related. Required experience: Entry level experience in HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding. Entry level experience working with HRIS software and other HR-related software tools. Entry level experience as an HR administrative assistant or HR administrator. Entry level administrative support experience.
