Description
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented HR professional to join our team as Associate, Human Resources. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will support the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and administrative tasks. You will assist in implementing HR policies, fostering a positive work environment, and maintaining accurate HR records in compliance with the labour laws (e.g., Employment Act). Key Responsibilities: HR Operations: Support onboarding (documentation, orientation, system setup) and offboarding (exit interviews, clearance). Manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Support benefits administration, including insurance enrolment and renewal. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure smooth and timely hiring process including partnering with hiring managers to understand role requirements. Maintain accurate recruitment records and provide regular updates on hiring status. Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries on HR policies, benefits, and procedures. Support the resolution of workplace conflicts and grievances confidentially. Support engagement initiatives (wellness programs, surveys, events). Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee touchpoints. HR Administration & Compliance: Maintain and ensure accuracy of employee records (personal data, certificates, leave) in HRIS (Workday). Ensure compliance with Malaysia labour laws and internal policies. Performance Management & L&D: Coordinate performance review cycles and track metrics. Support training needs and organize workshops/sessions. Monitor employee training progress and certifications. Reporting & HR Projects: Participate in ad-hoc HR projects (e.g., policy updates, system implementations). Prepare ad-hoc HR Reports as required. Support the maintenance and periodic renew of HR policies Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 4 years in HR administration / operations, with exposure to recruitment and talent acquisition Knowledge of Malaysia employment laws and HR best practices Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS (Workday) Strong organizational and communication skills High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information Experience in a multinational or fast-paced environment is a plus Familiarity with recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus Are you ready to engineer a greener future?
