Overview This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. The Global Fund Banking Limited Partner Relations (“LPR”) Associate is responsible for supporting the LP Relations Team in managing and maintaining relationships with Limited Partners in the Private Markets ecosystem. Core responsibilities includes attending calls and meetings with Limited Partners and General Partners (“GP”), while actively maintaining a database of investor preferences and funds that are open to Limited Partner introductions. The LP Relations Associate will be responsible for tracking all activity related to LP introductions to clients/prospects of the bank and following-up for status updates, when appropriate. The LP Relations Associate will be responsible for working with Relationship Managers within GFB to accurately track and provide support for their Limited Partner discussions. The Associate will work closely with and provide support to senior members of the LP Relations team, in addition to working closely with GFB’s Sales Operations team to develop and maintain databases and dashboards for senior members of the team to review and utilize. Critical thinking skills will be utilized in support of senior members of the team, helping them and the GFB Relationship Managers build and maintain an active pipeline of LP relationships. This role will also assist in GFB’s LP diligence process, helping identify LPs the LP Relations team has strong relationships with to confirm underlying capital commitments to clients of the bank. Responsibilities Participating in calls with both GPs and LPs, actively taking notes and consolidating into various databases. Integrating notes and activities of the GFB Relationship Managers with LPs in this aggregated system. Maintaining and updating records for LPs related to any introduction activity and subsequent conversations or investments between LPs and GPs. Identify lists of potential LPs that may be interested in specific fund manager profiles Responsible for data integrity as it relates to CRM and other software systems and any metrics the LP Relations team is actively tracking. Lead the creation of market maps and other materials to position the LP Relationship platform to LPs and GPs. Review LP lists to support with commitment verification requests. Assist in the creation of insights/thought pieces based on data collected from LPs & GPs. Design and implement an outreach campaign to capture the status of all LP-GP introductions Recommends LP and GP follow-ups based on tracking information. Reviews information data sets to prepare fundraising/allocation insights Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 0 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 4 years work experience in the Private Markets ecosystem Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Prior internship or full-time experience in the Private Markets ecosystem (LP, GP, Capital Advisory, Banking, etc.) Knowledge of the Limited Partner universe and PE/VC fund structures. Able to remain organized and lead all administrative components in support of an exciting and dynamic initiative within GFB. Ability to lead simultaneous assignments and produce results in time-sensitive circumstances. Ability to take ownership of and drive processes, but also knows when to escalate or engage others. If hired in IL, the base pay for this position is generally between ($90k - $105k). Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
