Description

Our Legal Department in Latham is hiring a full-time Associate In-House Counsel to join their team! The hours are Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 5:00pm. Responsibilities: * review and draft proposed contracts, assist in the negotiation of contracts, and ensure that contracts meet business and legal objectives; * provide legal advice with respect to corporate governance and administration; * assist in preparing and reviewing corporate documents including bylaws, minutes, resolutions, policies, procedures, and forms; * provide legal guidance and support for various practice activities and issues; * support CCP TASS risk management activities by anticipating and guarding against legal risks to Community Care Physicians, PLLC; * monitor pertinent legislative and regulatory developments; * educate board, management, health care providers, and other staff when necessary; * assist in overseeing outside counsel; and * assist in handling complex legal matters, business transactions, or other projects as assigned.
