Job Description   Aids the department to support Safety/Industrial Hygiene programs for the health system. Helps in conducting preliminary site surveys and inspection and collects preliminary statistics on potential health hazards of specific substances or physical processes. Prepares reports of findings and makes recommendations for the elimination or control of potentially hazardous conditions. Job Responsibility   1. Helps in conducting preliminary site surveys and inspections.  2. Collects preliminary statistics on potential health hazards and recommends effective remediation.  3. Collaborates in follow up investigations to ensure corrective measures are being followed and adhered to as required.  4. Participates in the preparation, maintenance and updating of all practice  specific policy and procedure manuals.  5. Maintains equipment inventory and calibration schedule.  6. Keeps safety related documentation (active to archive) in compliance with regulatory requirements.  7. Assists teams and leadership in the creation of training materials and conducts training on Industrial Health and/or Safety topics and program as needed.  8. Operates with direct guidance and work assignments are generally  straightforward and of moderate complexity.  9. Performs related duties as required.
