ASSOCIATE INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS

As a skilled resource with Industrial Projects Service Line at DHL Global Forwarding Freight (DGFF) Global Service Center (GSC), you will be responsible for accurately processing and entering purchase orders released by DHL customers into the MMS system. This role involves performing basic checks to ensure the correct format of the orders and maintaining data integrity throughout the order entry process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must have solid MS Office skills to include Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional verbal and communication skills and an ability to work with all levels of our organization.
  • Must be highly analytical with a strong attention to detail.
  • Understanding of transportation or freight forwarding is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Responsibilities
  • You will be required to manage all the below or even additional as required by your business partner:
  • Receive purchase orders from DHL customers via email.
  • Conduct basic checks on the received purchase orders to ensure they meet the required format (SRN or shipment).
  • Accurately enter purchase order details into the MMS system, ensuring all relevant information is captured.
  • Verify the accuracy of data entered and make corrections as necessary.
  • Communicate with DHL customers and internal teams to clarify any discrepancies or issues related to purchase orders.
  • Provide timely updates on the status of purchase orders as required.
  • Monitor the order entry process for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement best practices to improve the purchase order entry process and reduce errors.
  • Maintain organized records of all purchase orders and related documentation.
  • Assist in generating reports related to purchase orders for management review.
