Job Introduction
We’re looking for an exceptional Associate Infrastructure Engineer to help us make a difference to our planet.
As our Associate Infrastructure Engineer, the job may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in the office and part of the week from home. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and the location advertised will be your contractual place of work.
Our opportunity is full time, 37 hours per week. Our people are at the heart of what we do and we’ll do our best to agree a working pattern that works for everyone.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • (We keep evolving) Enthusiasm and experience of pushing the boundaries of computing and a positive attitude to making a difference.
  • (Experts by nature) Working knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, ideally some of the following: Microsoft Windows Server/Client operating systems, Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy Management, DNS, Citrix.
  • (Experts by nature) Working knowledge of the benefits of: Endpoint management solutions to deploy Applications and Patches, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft365 Cloud Services, PowerShell Scripting.
  • (Force for Good) A genuine interest and drive in solving complex technical problems, often within the constraints of an operational environment.
Responsibilities

Within the Digital Workplace Technical Delivery team, your key areas of work are:

  • Working with Technical staff to deliver IT infrastructure solutions that involve integrating multiple components, considering security, network, and operational considerations.
  • Administering the operational aspects of Windows infrastructure, including creating comprehensive documentation for all aspects of the supported service delivery.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure that services are delivered within agreed-upon service levels.
  • Leveraging knowledge of all IT infrastructure areas to identify and pursue opportunities for improving services and business processes.
  • Taking ownership of technical issues and seeing them through to a satisfactory resolution.
