As Shamal Holding continues to grow, we’re in search of an Associate – Investments to join our Investments Department. In this role you will provide administrative and operational support to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and the broader Investments team. This role requires strong organisational and planning skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Administrative Support

 

  • Assist the Chief Investment Officer and the broader Investments team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars and preparing correspondence.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reporting, and other logistical requirements for the Investments team.
  • Maintain and organise departmental records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.

Operational Support


  • Support the investments team in preparing reports, and other materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in tracking expenses, invoices, and credit card monthly reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth execution of investment-related processes and initiatives.

Communication and Coordination

 

  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders ensuring effective communication and timely responses.
  • Liaise with other departments to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and information sharing.

Qualifications

  • A degree from a recognised institution.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in the field of investments or a related area.
  • Prior experience providing administrative or operational support within an investments or financial services environment.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
