Description The Associate Key Account Manager (AKAM) supports the growth and management of strategic accounts within the professional beauty channel, including distributors, salons, and other key partners. This role works closely with senior account managers and cross-functional teams to drive revenue, strengthen relationships, and execute account strategies. Spanish language proficiency is required to effectively support key markets and partners. Base Compensation: $70,000- 75,000 Sales Incentive Plan: 20% quarterly Key Responsibilities Account Support & Relationship Management Support day-to-day management of key distributor and channel partner accounts Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a reliable point of contact Communicate regularly with Spanish-speaking partners to ensure alignment and support Sales & Business Growth Assist in executing account plans to achieve revenue and growth targets Identify opportunities to expand distribution, increase sell-through, and optimize product mix Support new account onboarding and channel expansion initiatives Sales Tools & Asset Development Develop and maintain sales tools and assets (e.g., presentations, sell-in decks, product guides, promotional materials) to support account growth Partner closely with brand and creative teams to ensure assets are on-brand, compelling, and aligned with go-to-market strategies Adapt sales materials for Spanish-speaking markets, ensuring cultural relevance and accuracy Operational Execution Coordinate order management, forecasting, and inventory alignment with internal teams Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, promotions, and launches Track and report on sales performance, KPIs, and account health Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with marketing, education, supply chain, and customer service teams to support account needs Assist in planning and executing promotions, trainings, and product launches Provide feedback from accounts to inform product, pricing, and marketing strategies Market & Channel Insights Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and distributor performance Analyze sales data to identify opportunities and risks Support reporting and presentations for internal stakeholders Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1–3 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles Experience in professional beauty, CPG, or B2B distribution preferred Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) required Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Excel and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) preferred Travel Requirement: 20-30% travel Benefits And Perks Base pay of $70,000-75,000 with a 20% quarterly sales incentive bonus eligibility 401(k) with company match - $ for $ up to 4% - immediately vested Vacation/Holiday Leave Great Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Life and AD&D Insurance Opportunities for growth and advancement And so much more!
