Position: Kitchen Prep Plater/Associate At Joseph’s Classic Market, our reputation for gourmet prepared foods goes hand-in-hand with the quality and presentation of every item we serve. Our Kitchen Prep Platers are responsible for plating and packaging our freshly made dishes with precision and care, ensuring our display cases reflect our high standards. Routine Tasks: * Ensure all items are plated, packaged, and presented according to Joseph's quality and appearance standards * Maintain freshness by rotating products and monitoring quality * Package, label, and stock prepared foods for retail cases * Follow sanitation and food safety protocols at all times * Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, scales, and wrapping machines * Assist with general kitchen prep and cleaning tasks as needed Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age * Food preparation or kitchen experience preferred * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions * Basic math and reading skills * Strong attention to detail and visual presentation * Team-oriented with a positive attitude * A passion for serving people A Kitchen Prep Plater performs their tasks primarily in the kitchen and prep areas, including refrigerated environments. Work involves walking, standing for prolonged periods, and lifting products weighing up to 80 pounds. You'll be exposed to various temperature changes and work environments. Work also includes frequent interaction with fellow employees.
