The laboratory technician works under direct supervision performing routine laboratory support tasks to assist engineers in the Product Development unit. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * This is not an inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned* Prepares materials, operates and maintains laboratory equipment, and ensures lab organization. Adhere compliance to all laboratory and non-laboratory safety protocols and guidelines. Prepares samples, formulations, runs basic experiments, maintains equipment, basic data recording. Works from specific instructions. Assists applications engineers in preparing sample sets, formulations, and test data for internal and customer evaluations. Maintains inventory. Contributes to writing product application notes for customers. Communicates task updates and issues promptly to supervising engineers. Attend and participate in bi-weekly/monthly 1:1 meeting with supervisor to check in on task progress, lab issues, equipment needs, to coach lab skills, and encourage lab discipline and good habits. Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience BS degree in Chemistry, Materials Engineering or related technical field 0-1 years of experience and practice in a chemical laboratory setting Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures Excellent communication and cross-collaboration skills Salary range: $45,000 - $50,000 **The referenced pay range is based on Pixelligent's good faith belief at the time of posting. Final Salary and compensation will vary based on factors such as work experience, market and business conditions, education, degree level, training and skill level with consideration for internal equity.
