JOB SUMMARY

Dhillon Murthi Law P.C. is a firm located in Mississauga. We assist clients in all aspects of family law. We are seeking a Family Law Associate to join our team.
We are looking for a full-time Associate Lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 – 3 years’ experience in family law, the ability to handle files from inception to Superior Court level, both solely and as a member of a team. You should have excellent written and research skills, and knowledge of Divorcemate. You should be detailed oriented, highly organized, have a strong worth ethic and great interpersonal skills. A fluency in Hindi, Punjabi or Urdu is also an asset, but not required.
Our firm encourages all members of the team to continue to develop their knowledge and skills as a family law lawyer. You will receive mentorship from experienced counsel, while managing your own files. We emphasize and value a collegial and friendly work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • The successful candidate will hold a J.D. or L.L.B and will be a member in good standing with the LSO.
  • Proven experience in legal drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all professional interactions.
