ABOUT YOU

You are a registered medical professional (GMC) with a strong interest in education and a proven ability to teach in clinical and non-clinical settings. You’re an effective communicator, team player, and committed to inclusive practice and continuous professional development.
Experience in undergraduate teaching, assessment design, or educational technologies is desirable, along with a collaborative and organised approach to academic work.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Associate Lecturer (Teaching), you will support the development, coordination, and delivery of assessments across the MBBS programme. This includes contributing to the design of assessment processes, facilitating workshops, supporting OSCE examiner training, and maintaining our question bank and ePortfolio.
You’ll work closely with academic and curriculum teams to ensure assessments are high quality, well-aligned with the curriculum, and meet UCLMS standards. The role also offers opportunities to engage in research, postgraduate teaching, and wider departmental initiatives, with support for your ongoing professional development.

Appointment details:

• The post is Grade 7, the annual salary will start from £43,374 (including London Allowance).
• The appointment is available asap and is funded for 12 months, in the first instance.
