YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • A qualified solicitor with 1 - 4 years’ post-qualification experience (UK notional) in litigation and/or international arbitration, preferably within a reputable law firm.
  • Admission to the Singapore Bar or equivalent in a common law jurisdiction, or NY Bar.
  • A robust academic record in law, demonstrating a commitment to legal excellence.
  • A proven ability to navigate and resolve complex legal issues with a strategic and analytical approach.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Resilience under pressure, with a proven track record of managing tight deadlines and delivering results.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and the collective success of the practice.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of litigation and dispute resolution cases, including but not limited to commercial disputes, international arbitration, regulatory matters, investigations, financial and white-collar crime.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to our esteemed clientele, ensuring their needs are addressed with the utmost professionalism and efficiency.
  • Draft, review, and manage the filing of legal documents, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
  • Direct all facets of trial preparation, from discovery through to the development and execution of robust trial strategies.
  • Represent clients effectively in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations, striving for outcomes that align with their best interests.
  • Work collaboratively with partners and peers within the practice to foster a cohesive and innovative team environment.
  • Contribute to the mentoring and professional development of junior associates, nurturing the next generation of legal talent.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of current legal practices and developments, and actively participate in knowledge sharing within the firm.
