In our expanding Livable Places team, an opportunity exists for a talented Engineer to assist in the development, design and delivery of a range of transport schemes including walking and cycling, road safety, highway, and parking. Projects range from scheme development to design and implementation. We require an individual with experience in some or all of the following areas to fulfil our expanding portfolio of work from public and private sector organisations: * Highway/ Transport infrastructure design, low/ medium cost highway design schemes. * Public realm Design- Footways/ Cycleways, Design of Pedestrian/ Cycle crossings. * Design of Bus Corridors/ Park and Ride schemes. * Junction Design – Priority/ Signalised/ Roundabout Junctions. * Road Signs and Markings design. * Parking studies/ strategies. * Technical report for scheme appraisals. * Vehicle Swept path analysis. * Basic Knowledge on Traffic Signals. * Project Management – Design Decision Registers/ Design Risk Registers.
