This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity of financial data, supporting various internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to the smooth operation of loan processing and reporting. --- Job Responsibilities * **Data Management:** Accurately input, validate, and maintain loan reference data, including but not limited to borrower information, loan terms, interest rates, payment schedules, and collateral details. * **Data Integrity & Quality:** Perform regular data quality checks and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring high levels of data accuracy and consistency. * **System Updates:** Process updates and changes to existing loan data in a timely manner, adhering to established procedures and controls. * **Issue Resolution:** Investigate and resolve data-related inquiries and issues from internal teams (e.g., operations, accounting, risk) and external clients. * **Documentation:** Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, data entry procedures, and data quality checks. * **Reporting Support:** Assist in generating reports related to loan reference data for various internal and external stakeholders. * **Process Improvement:** Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the implementation of more efficient data management practices. * **Compliance:** Ensure all data management activities comply with relevant internal policies and regulatory requirements. --- Job Qualifications * **Education:** MBA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. * **Experience:** 0-2 years of experience in financial services, data entry, data management, or a related back-office operations role, preferably with exposure to loan products. * **Technical Skills:** * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data manipulation). * Familiarity with financial systems and databases is a plus. * **Analytical Skills:** Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies. * **Communication:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients. * **Problem-Solving:** Proactive and resourceful in identifying and solving data-related challenges. * **Teamwork:** Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
