Description Position: Business Valuation Associate – Princeton, NJ We are seeking an individual with a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics. This role requires assisting team members with business valuation projects for holding companies and operating companies across a variety of industries for purposes including gift and estate tax, financial reporting and litigation. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional seeking to build a career in business valuation, with a strong academic foundation, demonstrated leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills. Effective candidates must be organized, detail-oriented and committed to continuous learning and professional growth. Key Responsibilities: · Organize client source documents · Populate various models · Pull market and industry data from various databases · Conduct extensive economic and industry research · Analyze financial data of private and public companies · Present valuation results and work product to other team members · Write limited sections of valuation reports · Take effective and well-organized notes to accurately capture key information for other team members · Oversee interns to ensure their career progression through on-the-job training Qualifications: · Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics · 0-2 years of professional working experience · Pursuing certifications relevant to financial analysis (CFA) and/or business valuation (ASA, ABV, CVA) · Proficiency in financial modeling using Microsoft Excel Strong skills in time management, project management/organization, problem solving, attention to detail, notetaking and written and verbal communication Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and priorities under strict deadlines and work well with various team members Location: Hybrid Princeton, New Jersey (on-site Tuesday-Thursday, remote Monday and Friday)
