Summary: Experienced Commodity / Account Management & Strategic Sourcing professional, overseeing supplier selection and contract negotiation. Responsible for partnering with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and improve sourcing strategy. Key Responsibilities: Lead cost reduction efforts by identifying material productivity opportunities, conducting spend analysis, and implementing value engineering initiatives Develop and execute category strategies that align with business objectives, including supplier segmentation, risk assessment, and market intelligence gathering Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, operations, finance) to align sourcing strategies with product roadmaps and cost targets Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through diversification, contingency planning, and sustainability initiatives Build and maintain robust supplier relationships through regular performance reviews, contract negotiations, and collaborative improvement programs Drive supplier selection, onboarding, and development processes to ensure a resilient and high-performing supply base Monitor category performance metrics such as savings realization, supplier OTD (On-Time Delivery), and total cost of ownership Minimum Requirements: B.E/B.Tech. from a premier institute is a must, MBA preferred 12-16 years of category management experience, preferably in HVAC industry Ability to work in a global environment with global stakeholders across multiple countries Strategic thinking- ability to think through and independently define priorities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge and exposure to engineering drawings, cost reduction, Value analysis and value engineering efforts, negotiation process Strong desire to drive for results, sense of accountability for self and others Strong program management skills, including change management Self-directing and self-motivating Benefits: We are committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all of our employees, and enhancing our programs when necessary.
