DIMENSIONS Manage the team, coordinate with all departments/employees and corporate team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct regular GEMBA at shop floor and other areas of the factory premises. Train all employees, contractors & visitors for company EHS standards. Closely monitor activities of all employees including contractor's employees. Prepare, update and implement EHS policy, procedures of the company. Maintain an emergency response plan and implement it properly. Participate & drive site Change Management Process. Ensure EHS compliance at all locations as per local & international standards. Attending EHS corporate audit, brands/3rd party social and EHS audit and close out the audit findings. Input monthly EHS data in the global reporting tool. Reporting the incident/near miss to the EHS Head, update the findings with close out status. Conducting monthly safety committee meeting and emergency mock drill. Prepare yearly training plan to meet company goal, local law and brand's requirements. Conduct necessary environment, health & safety training to all employee as per plan. Discuss and update daily EHS findings in daily/weekly/monthly meetings. Conducting Behavior Based Safety Training & awareness sessions. Ensuring Environment, Health, Safety engagements as per the company plans. Participate in Site Safety audits. Prepare yearly action plan and take lead/co-lead to implement the action plan. Regular reporting to EHS Head showing closer rate of action plan, accident finding, brand's findings etc. Conduct incident investigation, identify proper root cause, findings and actions plan to avoid recurrence. Prepare and assist EHS Head yearly opex/capex budget with monitoring and implementation. Prepare/Update/Monitor EHS risk assessments and work permit / Permit work systems. Organize and carry out internal auditing for the EHS Management system and monitoring for close out the findings. Liaison with local legal authority and global team as required. Monitoring EHS compliance for employee, contractors & others. Monthly reporting of EHS KPIs Track, Monitor and ensure compliance of EMS, Energy, Water, Wastewater, Air Emission, Waste, Chemicals management. Work with different Key stakeholders (Reputed international brands, Govt authority, local & international NGOs, consultants, Vendors, suppliers, third parties for compliance requirements, regular communication and reporting as required. Work for factory up-gradation/continuous improvement work to meet NIRAPON/RSC standard for the factory safety on structural, fire & Electrical safety. Attend for EHS, Social compliance audits and certifications programs (Higg FEM, Brands ENV audit, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SLCP, SMETA) etc. Ensure chemical compliance requirements such as ZDHC standards, RSL, CIL to meet Avery Dennison global standard & other reputed brands requirements. Delegate and ensure completion of all projects and daily responsibilities of maintenance personnel. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Possess a recognized EHS professional certification (international standard preferred). Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial sectors. Strong understanding of Bangladesh Labor Laws, EPZ Acts & Rules, Environmental Regulations, and other relevant statutory requirements. Proficient in English communication (both written and verbal). Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to effectively use email and internet-based tools. Good Knowledge in ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001. Demonstrated experience and sound knowledge of facility-level maintenance activities.
