As an associate manager of financial systems analysis on the Progressive Home Treasury Accounting team, you’ll be responsible for completing and reviewing the highest complexity financial systems analysis. You’ll be the subject matter expert to business partners in financial system platform groups and various finance groups. As an expert accounting professional with comprehensive understanding of complex business controls and accounting concepts you’ll assess risks, determine financial impact and protect financial integrity. You’ll lead projects and manage 5 direct reports, including employment decisions, performance management, compensation and reward planning and employee development.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or related field of study and a minimum 6 years of financial systems, analytical or accounting experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Demonstrable leadership, collaboration, and relationship-building skills to manage a team and work successfully with business partners.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting controls and accounting analysis
  • Strong excel skills, knowledge of Workday, Kyriba or comparable general ledger and treasury systems
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive process improvements and maintain effective business controls
Responsibilities

In addition to the minimum requirements for the role, the candidate must meet requirements to work in the General Ledger. Those General Ledger requirements include the completion of Principles of Accounting I and II -or- Financial Accounting I and II.
