The Job at a Glance As Associate Manager of New Markets, you will forge paths and build the infrastructure required to expand both solutions and populations we serve at Soda Health. One of the most exciting aspects of being a part of a Series B startup is the ability to build amazing things for our customers while strengthening your ability to succeed in a dynamic environment. At a high level, you’ll work directly with senior leadership to develop advocates for Soda Health, identify emerging business opportunities, and provide strategies to align key stakeholders within healthcare, government and related industry partners. This often includes activities as wide-ranging as assisting in healthcare policy development one day and identifying key industry conferences in which Soda Health interests can be advanced. What You Will Do Working within an organization created at the intersection of health care, retail and financial technology, no two days will look the same. Typical responsibilities of the role include: Establish and maintain the required infrastructure to monitor federal and state legislative and regulatory policy actions Collaborate with internal departments to ensure messaging regarding key legislative and regulatory actions are developed for external audiences Identify, develop and maintain relationships with subject matter experts and industry partners to support efforts to achieve market leadership through innovation and best-in-class solutions Develop and maintain a CRM database of key contacts and stakeholders among identified industry cohorts. Contribute to the development of policy and communication strategies to advance the organization’s priorities and goals Describing About You While every candidate brings a unique resume and prospective, an ideal candidate will include: Experience in State and Federal Policy Affairs Experience/Internships in State, Federal Government administration Experience/Internships in Professional Associations in relevant industry sectors Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Affairs, Communications or similar experience strongly preferred Other Requirements Travel may be required from time to time as part of the role, for company events and business needs Soda Health is a remote-first, distributed workforce. Candidates should be comfortable with, and equipped to work within, a distributed remote team, including having reliable internet access and basic home office equipment.
