Job Description Working closely with the Principal, the role holder will be responsible for the Accounting process and all other related activities as required by the Principal on a client case-by-case basis. They will communicate directly with the Principal on routine operational matters ensuring close collaboration in delivering quality service to the end clients. All work delivered will be accurate, well-presented and meet quality standards. You will: Manage a caseload of corporate insolvency cases, including liquidations and corporate advisory assignments. Knowledge of offshore insolvency law and experience dealing with service providers, legal teams on forensic investigations, financial disputes and insolvency matters across multiple jurisdictions. Analysis of documents for forensic investigations and litigation. Drafting notices, liquidation reports and correspondence to stakeholders. Completion of client onboarding including engagement agreements and client due diligence. Managing the practice including invoicing, budgeting, internal accounting, competitor analysis, client proposals, and quality and risk. Preparation of filings for economic substance, beneficial ownership and FATCA / CRS. Qualifications Education / professional qualifications Accounting qualification from an internationally recognized accounting body (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA). Holder of an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Background experience Minimum – 3 to 4 years’ experience, which includes SAICA’s training contract. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage Technical Experience and knowledge of financial services, including familiarity with industry regulations and practices. Computer / program knowledge Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
