Role Overview: As part of the EIT SCM Make Team, The EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) Software Engineering Specialist plays a vital role in leading global EHS enhancements related to SAP solutions within EHS (Specification Management, Hazardous Substance Management, Hazardous Master Data, Dangerous Goods Management, and Product Safety) and integration across the business including areas such as Production Execution and Material Handling. This role supports our global network across (NA, EU, APAC, and LA) and involves full cycle project management from scope to delivery. (Gap/requirement analyses, solutioning, testing, documentation, preparation/transition support to production, and hyper care). What will you do in this role: Be part of SCM (Supply Chain Management) international team of SAP Experts Be responsible for managing all EHS changes related to SAP solution including integration within other areas of the business (ex. Production Execution and Warehouse/Material Handling). Responsible for full cycle project management from scope to delivery expected (Gap/requirement analyses, solutioning, testing, documentation, preparation/transition support to production, and hyper care) Be part of live markets operational support delivering EHS enhancements on current SAP solution within related functional areas. Be responsible for change management process collaborating with the appropriate technical team. Work with and Influence individuals across a global matrixed organization (NA, EU, APAC and LA) to realize key objectives. Test and troubleshoot interfaces to third-party applications (Ex. Automated Warehouses -MMES) in relation to respective SAP modules. Work on diverse projects like roll-out of our global solution to new markets Document, review and approve functional specifications, user requirements specifications and formal testing. Work in a matrix environment coordinating with outsourced support vendors. Coordinate and work closely with other teams within other different business units in the company. Manage stakeholder expectations, work with the Business to deliver on SAP enhancements & projects. Communicate risks, issues, challenges, and technical design status/progress. Ensure issues and risks are tracked and mitigation plans are in place. What Should you have: Functional and technical (SAP) expertise for SAP Production Execution Module (Preferable PP-PI – Process industry). 2-4 Years or more EHS experience desired Knowledge of end-to-end EHS processes: Examples: Specification Management, Hazardous Substance Management, Hazardous Master Data, Dangerous Goods Management (DG data model, UN-listed substance, DG classification), and Product Safety (Global Label Management & Safety Data Sheet Management, GHS standards) Good English communication skills and the ability to interact directly with business users and stakeholders. Team player with desire to integrate solutions with other work areas and beyond core SAP solutions. Familiarity with SDLC in the pharmaceutical industry required. Analytical problem-solving skills Ability to learn & leverage the latest technology. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. High attention to detail and a proactive mindset to prevent issues before escalation.
