# Plan, monitor and manage development and management of strategic suppliers / tie-ups related to the assigned RM requirements to ensure effective material management; continuously update vendor master database. # Liaison with current and potential suppliers on a periodic basis to build a strong relationship and capitalize on the same for collaborative partnerships . # Conduct negotiations on financial and other terms and conditions for supply of Class B +C items. Assist the Lead - Supply Chain in finalization of supplier and closure on the contract balancing company’s short term & long term interests. # Deploy SOPs around Class B + C /import procurement (PR, PO, Closing orders etc) to mitigate risk and ensure standardized and transparent procurement while adhering to internal SLAs; Oversee the complete end to end sourcing and procurement process for all assigned RM. # Co-ordinate with vendors to ensure that they comply with the agreed upon standards in terms of price, quality, quantity, and defect percentage and other agreed upon metrics.

Responsibilities

The Associate Manager will plan, monitor, and manage the development and management of strategic suppliers for assigned raw material requirements to ensure effective material management. This includes liaising with suppliers, conducting negotiations for Class B + C items, and overseeing the complete end-to-end sourcing and procurement process.
