This role focuses on creating and maintaining BOMs and drawing packages, updating existing designs, and supporting engineering documentation. The ideal candidate is an early-career or entry-level engineer who is eager to start their career with a great company. Associate Mechanical Engineer I (Open to Entry Level) Responsibilities • Support sustaining engineering activities for manufactured medical equipment • Update existing designs for size, options, and customer-specific configurations • Create and maintain drawings, BOMs, and complete drawing packages • Build and manage 3D CAD models while applying standards and revision control • Prepare assembly work instructions and update product manuals • Follow the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process for design updates • Partner with manufacturing and vendors from prototype through production • Support design reviews, capture action items, and update documentation • Execute basic verification testing and document results • Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with engineering, service, and purchasing teams Associate Mechanical Engineer I (Open to Entry Level) Qualifications • Associate’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required • 0–4 years of mechanical engineering experience is required • Familiarity with drafting, drawing, and document control is required • Proficiency with 3D CAD software is required • Ability to work 100% on-site in Billerica, MA, is required
