QUALIFICATIONS

  • MD/DO, board-certified in Internal or Family Medicine
  • Active Illinois medical license or ability to obtain
  • 5+ years of clinical experience preferred

We are seeking a dynamic, people-first physician to serve as the Associate Medical Director for Hospital Medicine — a leadership role designed for those who wish to inspire, influence, and drive change at the intersection of clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and compassionate care.
Opportunity Details:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a well-established hospitalist team of 60+ FTEs, supported by a dedicated group of nocturnists and APPs, with a closed ICU and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

As Associate Medical Director, you will:

  • Lead operational strategy and daily functions for the Hospitalist team with 0.5 FTE protected administrative time and 0.5 FTE clinical duties.
  • Collaborate with an experienced Assistant Medical Director focused on quality outcomes and operations.
  • Partner with the Hospital Medicine RN Supervisor and liaise with nursing and other inpatient services.
  • Be supported by a dedicated Office Assistant for calendar management and scheduling.
  • Report to the Medical Director of Adult Inpatient Services and work in dyad partnership with the Director of Hospital Operations with strong background and data analytics.
