JOB SUMMARY

As OTDT Associate Medical Director for Patient Engagement, you will play a key role in supporting the current OTDT Medical Director by providing leadership and professional input with regards patient engagement and involvement, within the Organ and Tissue Donation and Transplantation directorate, as well as the wider donation and transplantation community.
In addition to supporting the OTDT Medical Director, the AMD for Patient Engagement will have a key role in the OTDT Clinical Team, and will be expected to support in the delivery of our strategies- Organ Donation and Transplantation 2030: Meeting the Need, Tissue & Eye Services Strategy 2023-26, as well as supporting other national patient engagement and involvement initiatives.
The role requires a proven track record of delivering sustained change within and beyond your specialism, as well as good communication skills and innovative leadership, in order to contribute to our key projects and programmes.
