Under the supervision of a licensed therapist or clinical director, you will assist in delivering therapeutic services, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans. This position is ideal for individuals seeking to gain valuable experience in the field of clinical psychology or counseling. Responsibilities: Conduct initial assessments of clients to understand their mental health needs and concerns. Assist in administering psychological assessments and tests as required. Collaborate with the clinical team to gather and analyze client information. Work with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, setting goals and objectives. Support the licensed clinician in formulating effective therapeutic interventions. Monitor and update treatment plans as needed, ensuring they align with clients' progress. Provide individual or group counseling sessions under the guidance of a licensed clinician. Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address clients' mental health challenges. Create a safe and empathetic therapeutic environment for clients to express themselves. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessment results. Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical documentation requirements. Collaborate with licensed clinicians, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Consult with the clinical team to discuss cases, share insights, and develop effective treatment strategies. Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of mental health and counseling through training and professional development opportunities. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Associate Mental Health Therapist Requirements: Master’s degree in counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related field required. LLMSW and LLPC licensure required Completion or progress towards professional licensure or certification, as required by Michigan. Experience working in an environment where you demonstrated the following: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Empathy, patience, and the ability to establish rapport with clients. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a clinical team. Salary/hourly: $45.00/ hour The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for this position. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education.
