The roles and responsibilities include: Supports in various aspects of transaction preparation, including conducting legal research, drafting filings, and other related documents such as term sheets and purchase agreements Assists in developing transactions strategies by analyzing legal issues and contributing to strategy discussions with senior lawyers Supports in due diligence process by reviewing and analyzing financial statements, contracts and other relevant documents Coordinates various aspects of transaction processes, manages timelines, and ensures that all necessary steps are completed efficiently Works towards development of transactions legal skills and expertise in the field May co-ordinate work of more junior members of the team Helps coach and develop more junior lawyers Excellent research, drafting and analytical skills Solid communication and collaboration skills Australian qualified PQE 4+ This role reports to Partner Equal Opportunities We are committed to creating a fair workplace and encourage applications from all ages, cultural backgrounds, First Nations communities, genders, sexual orientations, as well as people who have family or carer responsibilities.
