Description:
Overview:
Element has an opportunity for an Associate Microbiologist whose primary responsibility is to support laboratory operations by conducting the relevant microbiological testing.
The role will be based in Jalan Boon Lay, Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day tests on food, water and air microbiology samples
- Conduct method development on new test
- Support site sampling as and when required
- Maintain the good laboratory housekeeping and ensure Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standard are adhered and documentation are up-to-date
Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum a Diploma in Microbiology or equivalent
- Good knowledge in various biological methods and procedures, and GLP in a microbiological laboratory
- Meticulous and with a keen analytical mind
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving license is a plus
- Self-motivated team player with excellent organizational skills
