Role purpose and overview
Telegraph Media Group is looking to recruit an Associate Money Editor to join its highly successful personal finance team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in national newsrooms and be an accomplished writer and editor. The Associate Money Editor will be an integral member of the Money desk, expected to drive our daily coverage and work with reporters to ensure their stories are the best they can be.
We are looking for someone with a strong news sense and a solid understanding of personal finance and consumer topics. The ideal candidate will be full of ideas and energy, able to think of fresh ways to take on key topics of interest and hungry to set the agenda for money journalism.
The role reports to the Money Editor and plays a central role in overseeing a large team of reporters and writers responsible for The Telegraph’s award-winning money coverage. It may include early and weekend shifts.
