Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for an Associate Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Quality Test Specialist who has NAS 410 or equivalent level II certifications in Ultrasound method to join our Composite Fabrication team in West Jordan or Salt Lake City, Utah. Candidate may be selected for 1st or 2nd shift.
A successful candidate in this role will develop, conduct and/or improve and correct non-destructive inspection or test techniques, methods and processes. They will also analyze data and documents and communicate their recommendations to their respective manager.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • NAS 410 or equivalent level II or higher certifications in Ultrasound method

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Associate Degree
  • Experience working with Automated NDT inspection equipment
  • Experience in Eddy Current (ET) and Dye Penetrant (PT)
  • Experience working under pressure in a fast paced role with strict deadlines
  • Experience working both independently and in team environments
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience with data analysis and/or data mining
Responsibilities
  • Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment to controlled standards.
  • Assists in the documentation of procedures for setting up test equipment.
  • Analyzes routine test, inspection or statistical data to determine product and processes conformity.
  • Assists with standard corrective action recommendations.
  • Documents and communicates standard test, analysis or measurement results.
  • Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.
