It provides a differential experience due to the roles Associates play as well as our value-added approach to investment management. The breadth of industries, the multiple types of investments, and the overall deal volume provide a unique opportunity for Associates to gain significant experience in a short period of time. Bain Capital professionals are exposed to a broad set of situations and companies, and systematically develop skills as a value added investor -- not just a financial engineer. Associates will learn how to evaluate investment opportunities through the application of fundamental strategic analysis in addition to the more traditional financial modeling. Associates may also be exposed to a variety of portfolio company issues (e.g. potential add-on investments, liquidity options, improving core operations) and will gain unique operating experience. In addition, Associates will benefit from a comprehensive training program that is designed to introduce Bain Capital's value-added investment approach. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Exceptional business analytic and quantitative skills 2+ years of work experience in management consulting and/or investment management Excellent professional and academic track record Ability to operate with limited supervision Highly analytical and strategic thinker Strong interpersonal skills Dedicated team player with a strong sense of ownership REQUIRED EDUCATION Strong academic record at a top undergraduate school Compensation: Expected Annual Base Salary $150,000 Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance. Bain Capital offers a competitive benefits package designed to support employees’ health, financial security, family needs, and overall well-being. Bain Capital is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status. Bain Capital, LP is one of the world’s leading private multi-asset alternative investment firms that creates lasting impact for our investors, teams, businesses, and the communities in which we live. We leverage our shared platform to capture cross-asset class opportunities in strategic areas of focus. With offices on four continents, our global team aligns our interests with those of our investors for lasting impact.
