Associate Optometrist position available for an Optometrist in an upscale private practice in Montebello (Los Angeles County) at EYE PEOPLE Optometry. We are seeking a friendly, personable, reliable and motivated candidate to join our team as an associate OD. Days currently needed are: Sundays ODs will practice full scope Optometry with complete autonomy, techs will pre-test and perform CL training. In addition to routine examination services, we offer specialty contact lens fittings with an emphasis on scleral lenses and myopia control. We will train the right candidate on scleral lenses and myopia control if desired. We are a high end and high volume private practice (not owned by private equity) located in Montebello, CA in the San Gabriel Valley east of Los Angeles. We were recently featured on a “Destination LA” airing on CBS. Our office is fully equipped with automated exam lanes with Topcon auto-phoropters, Crystal EHR, Optos, iCare Tonometer, Topographer, and are 1 of 6 offices in SoCal using the sMap 3D scleral topographer for designing highly customized scleral lenses. We also have an in-house lab on site and are an exclusive carrier of CHANEL and other high end brands such as Gucci, Burberry, Saint Laurent, Versace, Tom Ford, Tiffany, etc. We are also the first practice in the region to offer VR Progressives.
Responsibilities
The Associate Optometrist will practice full scope Optometry with complete autonomy, focusing on routine examinations and specialty contact lens fittings, including scleral lenses and myopia control. Technicians will handle pre-testing and contact lens training.
