The Associate, Paid Search Media is responsible for supporting the Search Team by conducting trainings, answering search-related questions, and writing guides, while managing their own account load.  Job Summary The Digital Media team is the driving force behind RKD Group’s digital campaign delivery. We ensure projects move seamlessly from plan to production to launch by aligning timelines, organizing workflows, and keeping deliverables on track.  As the bridge between Strategy, Creative, Tech, Media, and Account Management, we make sure every team has what they need to bring campaigns to life. Our focus is on execution—we work behind the scenes (not directly with clients) to keep campaigns moving efficiently, accurately, and on time.  If you’re detail-oriented and thrive on organization then this role puts you at the center of making impactful digital campaigns happen for nonprofits across the country.  Key Responsibilities:   Paid Search Management    The Associate will manage paid search accounts at a minimum of once each week:  * Writing and testing text ads  * Writing and testing ad extensions  * Adjusting bids to optimize for CPA  * Reviewing and pacing budget against media plans  * Selecting new keywords to target qualified traffic  * Selecting new negative keywords to exclude unqualified traffic  * Performing regular quality checks on conversion tracking  * Build and manage new paid campaigns delivered through Workfront.  Google Ad Grant Management  The Associate will manage Google Ad Grants a minimum of once every two weeks:   * Writing and testing text ads   * Writing and testing ad extensions   * Selecting new keywords to target qualified traffic   * Selecting new negative keywords to exclude unqualified traffic   * Performing regular quality checks on conversion tracking   * Build and manage new campaigns delivered through Workfront.   Search Trainings & Writing Guides  The Associate is also responsible writing/updating guides on best practices for the Search Team to follow. The Associate will provide trainings to new and current Search Coordinators while acting as a mentor. They are responsible for creating an onboarding schedule for new Search Coordinators to include:  * Managing Paid and Grant accounts  * Using Google Ads Editor  * Conversion Tracking  * RKD best practices for organizing files  * Account performance reporting    Monthly Reporting  The Associate, Paid Search Media, will provide monthly insights on Paid and Grant account performance which is then shared with the client.   Conversion Tracking for Clients  The Associate will ensure that conversion tracking is set up properly across all their Paid Google, Paid Bing, and Google Grant accounts. Standard conversion tracking responsibilities include:  * Creating conversion actions within the search platforms for various variables to track.  * Creating tasks to send to our Tech Team to properly set up Google Tag triggers.  * Performing test transactions within GTM to ensure all media tags are firing properly.  * Monitoring conversions within the search platforms to ensure that tracking is working properly.  Assist with Client Onboarding  The Associate will assist the Digital Media Supervisor with onboarding new clients that will run ads on Google or Bing. Standard onboarding responsibilities include:  * Ensuring that GTM is installed on their domain and donation forms.  * Ensuring that we have access to their GTM.  * Creating their Paid Google & Bing accounts if needed.  * Ensuring that we have access to their Google Grant Account.  Qualifications & Skills: * Bachelor’s degree preferred  * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with experience in collaborative tools like Workfront and MS Teams  * 2+ years of direct response fundraising is preferred specializing in Google Grant & Paid Search (AdWords & Bing) with expertise in Conversion Tracking via Google Tag Manager  * Experience with national brand accounts, for-profit and non-profit sectors is a plus  * Demonstrated expertise in concept and campaign development for successful fundraising strategies is a plus  * Knowledgeable about paid search platforms, industry trends, and direct response marketing best practices  * Proven ability to leverage new technologies for operational efficiency and campaign effectiveness  * Thrive in challenging, fast-paced environments, showcasing adaptability, creativity, and problem-solving skills  Location: Remote  Pay Range expected for the position: $55,000-$62,000 annually. The position level and compensation for this role will be determined based on the market location, experience, job skills, and qualifications of the candidate.
