Associate Patient Care Technician in our Emergency Department at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is Part-Time and will work 12-hour Night shifts. Required Qualifications: * Coursework/Training and Completion of 1 clinical semester of nursing school. Or equivalent education/experience * 1 year as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Corpsman in the Armed Services, PCT, or * Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in an acute hospital setting, sub-acute long term care setting or outpatient/home health setting. * Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association * Within 90 days of hire Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) - provided by St. Joseph Hospital Preferred Qualifications: * 2 years of experience working in an emergency department as an EMT or CNA. Responsibilities

Provides direct care to patients within the Emergency Department or Critical Care unit. Works under the direction of Registered Nurses, Clinical Coordinators, and Department Managers.
